Few words from our CEO…
As we reflect on 2023, it’s impossible not to think back to January, a month that marked a turning point for us at Coppernic. A tragic event challenged our resolve, shook the Lecuivre family, and tested the strength of the entire Coppernic team.
In the words of a renowned poet, “If you can see the work of your life destroyed and without saying a single word, start to rebuild,” then you will be a Coppernaut.
We embraced this sentiment, rising brilliantly from the challenges, steering our ship with unwavering energy, and remaining more determined than ever to satisfy you, our valued partners.
Our journey in 2023 began with the Open Forum, a pivotal step in enhancing group cohesion and embracing Collective Intelligence, a cornerstone of our collaborative management philosophy.
From an operational standpoint, 2023 can be described as unique and distinctive in its progression. A very dynamic first semester saw successes in completing numerous projects, a testament to the groundwork laid in a 2022. Significant projects initiated by Jacky materialized in the spring of 2023, contributing to our achievements.
Then the summer period brought its share of tenders and long periods of calm, with a gradual decrease in travel expenses… Activity goes into a slumber in August, marked by well-deserved naps under the pine trees to the sound of cicadas…
After the holidays, there is always the promise of sustained activity from September onwards, but then… nothing, “dead calm,” absolute stillness, not even a gentle breeze to allow us to quietly reach our goals! Like an exceptionally hot Indian summer in France, extending the impression that vacations continue until November.
Here we are in December already… Another year… The 15th fiscal year for Coppernic…
And finally, the activity restarts, but quite late, and we must once again redouble our efforts to make up for the months of calm. It is also a period when Collective Intelligence is expressed on the workbenches as all departments take turns to support the production and logistics teams in absorbing staggering demand in a very short time.
In two weeks, we’ll once again stand at the foot of the mountain, ready to climb with eagerness, courage, team spirit, and flair.
Anticipating 2024 remains complex, given the challenging economic, social, and geopolitical landscape. However, one certainty prevails: even in the storm, Coppernic remains your unwavering partner, committed to accompanying you with strength and determination.

PARTICIPATION IN MARCH AT THE TRANSPORT TICKETING GLOBAL SHOW IN LONDON
Our Access-ER terminal, specially designed for public transportation, received an outstanding reception!
Packed with comprehensive features such as control, sales, validation, enforcement, and payment; our terminal was highly praised for its enhanced performance, bolstered by the integration of our partner Nepting’s SoftPOS solution
PARTICIPATION IN NOVEMBER AT MAYORS' EXPO IN PARIS
Another key milestone in our year was our participation in the Mayors’ Expo in Paris – Parkopolis, from November 21 to 23.
We successfully showcased our innovative on-street parking control solution with the ALPR* vehicle system.
*Automatic License Plate Recognition.
It was also an opportunity for Coppernic to premiere the video created in collaboration with our client, the City of Aix-en-Provence!

RFID : A technological success for the benefit
of an exceptional customer by Coppernic ⚡
As we reach the end of 2023, we are delighted to highlight an outstanding achievement of our secure RFID handheld Coppernic terminals sold to the Ministry of Defense.
Coppernic’s Access terminals play a key role in asset traceability, leveraging UHF RFID technologies, notably through the successful adaptation and modification of the Zebra RFD40 GUN!
It is around its latest professional terminal, Access, that Coppernic chose to design a solution composed of the best technologies on the market and a complete range of custom accessories, thus offering a unique platform in the market.
The choice naturally fell on our Access for its modern, compact qualities, but above all, data security. Inherently equipped with the most advanced security technologies, including a fully integrated Secure Element and multiple layers of application and system-level security, the Access has the capability for a very high level of cryptography for all captured and transmitted data.
This exclusive integration was made possible thanks to the exceptional expertise of the Coppernic teams.
To date, the Ministry of Defense utilizes 1,200 Coppernic terminals, and this special collaboration attests to our commitment to French digital sovereignty, as well as Coppernic's ongoing dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions that meet the specific needs of our most demanding clients.

Highlights of the Year 2023💥
The year 2023 marked the rise of CopperID and CopperAccess products.
A significant new addition to our Biometric terminal family…
an all-in-one model equipped with a contact card reader (in addition to the existing contactless reader…)
…the real evolution occurred with our software products, undergoing a substantial transformation!
In terms of access control, Coppernic now provides mature and operational solutions for entry-exit flows, on-the-fly control, and emergency evacuation situations.
Numerous projects will materialize in early 2024, supported by our supplemental offerings, CopperSafe, and 802.1x technology on the wired network.
On the Biometrics front, Coppernic offers a revised and simplified version of CopperID, with ABIS connectivity, providing the possibility of multi-modal identification. It also allows identity badge verification offline, without requiring access to a database for storing fingerprints (CNIL compatible).
Major projects this year involved not only loyal customers but also a wide range of new partners choosing to trust us for the first time.
Our Business Unit has experienced a significant increase in our biometric offering, jumping from 45% in 2022 to 70% in 2023!
A thorough analysis reveals several extremely positive factors: increasing adoption of our solutions by our customers, specific improvements within our biometric product range, sustained demand in the markets, and high-quality partnerships.
The year 2024 looks promising with the introduction of new concepts, unprecedented features, and innovative services... Stay tuned!
